Spirius strengthens its team with Robin Törnström Henriksson who becomes the company’s Senior Software Developer.

Robin is originally from Karlskrona and has a degree in computer science. He has previously worked at Ericsson, Telenor and as a consultant via Sigma, and was development manager at the digital ticket service Nortic.

– At Spirius, I do many different things. I develop the customer portal and work with Messaging-services, maintain existing systems and handle some customer support, says Robin, who also appreciates the technology that Spirius uses.

– There are more or less fun programming languages ​​and development environments and I think Spirius uses great technology.

He sees a future for Spirius because IoT is growing so fast, but he also appreciates the company’s Messaging services.

– It is fascinating with SMS because it is an old technology that has been declared dead many times, but which no one really has been able to replace. It is still current and reliable. If you receive an SMS on your phone, you read it to a much greater extent than your emails, which are often just spam. SMS usually comes from a person or it is a notification about dentist time or similar, says Robin.
