Extended Virtual Number

An additional feature is the Extended Virtual Number, which only exists in Sweden for now. The service allows you to append up to 4 digits to the number, which in turn allows you to get up to ten thousand unique addresses. A good feature if, for example, the company has about 100 employees and everyone wants to send SMS through their computer and receive SMS back to the computer.

7-bit (Default): The most cost-effective choice for standard messages of up to 160 characters.

8-bit (Data): Technical solution optimized for binary data, IoT and machine-to-machine communication (M2M).

Billing Service

Get full control of your billing

With Spirius billing service, you can tag each SMS with any string. A monthly report compiles your sent messages based on the tags you've used. You can also ask a question via our REST API about what a specific SMS costs, or download a price list for all countries.

  • Tag each SMS with any ID (for example, customer or project number).
  • Each ID can have up to 20 characters, the letters A–Z and the numbers 0–9.
  • Get monthly traffic reports with a summary of the cost of each ID.
  • After you have sent an SMS and received an ID, use the same ID to send a REST API request to find out what the SMS cost in the currency of the agreement.
  • Download an updated complete price list for all countries via REST API.
Short Numbers

Short numbers,
big impact

Spirius owns the Swedish card number 71 111 which customers can use in their SMS campaigns. Card numbers were previously associated primarily with mobile payments, but today it is a sought-after tool for marketing.

A speed dial is a great choice when you want quick interaction with your target audience. For people to participate, the number has to be easy to remember; whether you see the number in an ad or hear it in a radio commercial, it has to stick right away. Owning your own card number is costly, which is why using shared numbers like these is beneficial. Spirius has its own speed numbers for Swedes (71,111), Denmark (1272) and Norway (2130).

The easy way

The Mail2SMS service allows you to send emails that become an SMS or vice versa. It works for both incoming and outgoing SMS and you can use any email client.

Network Lookup

Verify subscriptions and network affiliations without problems

When you send a lot of messages, it can be difficult to know if all subscriptions are active. With Spirius's Network Lookup service, you can find out if the number has a subscriber and which network a specific subscription belongs to.

Network Lookup specifies the operator's network code (MCCMNC) or the Service Provider ID (SPID) from SNPAC (Sweden only). This is essential since many mobile numbers are ported, meaning you cannot identify the network based solely on the phone number prefix.Network Lookup anger nätverkskoden MCCMNC på operatören eller operatörens SPID kod från SNPAC (gäller bara Sverige).
